LIVINGSTON, N.J., Mar. 12, 2014 – Gebroe-Hammer Associates, the region’s most active multi-family investment brokerage firm, has recognized Nancy Reilly for 40 years of outstanding service in the multi-family industry, announced Chairman Alan Gebroe. The Leonia, N.J., resident launched her career in high school and has risen through the ranks of the Livingston, N.J.-based firm to senior vice president.
“Nancy has earned the respect of everyone with whom she has worked by forging and maintaining key relationships with fellow employees, brokers, clients and peers,” said Gebroe. “She has been instrumental to Gebroe-Hammer’s growth and agility and serves as a strong role model dedicated to promoting personal and professional growth for all, particularly women.”
Reilly joined Gebroe-Hammer at its inception as the sole administrative professional after working for another firm part-time with the late Mel Gebroe. In 1974, she joined Mr. Gebroe when he formed Gebroe Associates and then, in 1975, Gebroe-Hammer Associates, which was founded by Mr. Gebroe and the late Morris Hammer. During her tenure with the firm, she has expanded her industry knowledge and earned her New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson’s license as well as certification as a paralegal from Montclair State University.
As a member of the senior management team, Reilly is involved with the daily business operations of the firm’s executive office. She oversees Gebroe-Hammer’s complex internal operations and serves as a liaison to its brokers and comprehensive roster of external consultants.
In addition to overseeing the firm’s overall administrative operations, Reilly serves as the point-of-contact for many of the company’s most important business relationships. She routinely works with accountants, attorneys, bankers, vendors, computer network providers, property managers, insurance brokers, and marketing professionals.
“Nancy is an acknowledged leader in the multi-family housing sector, where she has been consistently recognized as one of New Jersey’s most influential women in commercial real estate,” added President Ken Uranowitz. “We commend and appreciate her ground-breaking loyalty and service to Gebroe-Hammer and the industry as a whole.”
